HOW RTE ENSURES THE CONTINUITY OF THE POWER GRID THROUGH RELIABLE DATA

RTE (Réseau de Transport d’Électricité) has launched the JUMP project to create 3D models of its high-voltage substations and to improve the reliability of its asset data.

To meet this challenge, RTE relies on BIM&CO’s Onfly solution: a centralized BIM library that streamlines the creation, validation, and reuse of objects.

Key highlights from this Use Case:

  1. An ambitious project: RTE is digitizing its high-voltage substations in BIM through the JUMP project.
  2. Complementary tools: point clouds, Revit, and Onfly to centralize BIM objects.
  3. A standardized process: rigorous creation, validation, and modeling workflows.
  4. Tangible results: 100+ substations modeled, 2,500 objects created, production time cut in half.
